About The Owner
Mike Ferrara, one of the owners of Wood and Fire, has always had a passion for the restaurant industry ever since he was young. In high school when his classmates were choosing internships in law firms, hospitals, finance companies, he chose an internship at a nearby restaurant. He knew as a child that the restaurant life was his calling. After his internship he never left the restaurant industry. He started off as a bus boy moving to a server and then becoming a manager at several well known restaurants in both Westchester, New York and Palm Beach County, Florida. He learned everything he knows from hands on experience. His strengths running all aspects of a restaurant were seen and valued by many, which lead him to become one of the partners of Wood and Fire. Even as an owner, Mike is active at the restaurant. He manages the day to day operations at Wood and Fire and is a staple with the costumers and staff.

Pasquale Abbatiello, age 27, born and raised in Napels, Italy. Currently resides in Queens, New York. Being around food and the restaurant business for his entire life, is where her found his passion for cooking. Growing up, he helped his Uncle in his pizzeria, Café Dolce Vita, during this time he found his love for cooking. In 2010, he became the head pizza chef in Manhattan and continued his education at The French Culinary Institute, where he received a grand diploma in Culinary Arts in 2012. Following Culinary School, he studied in Tuscany, Italy where he developed various skills in combining different ingredients to develop the recipes at Wood and Fire Pizza. Combining his love for cooking and food, he has created a cohesive menu that pleases everyone.
